Registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats in North Carolina

Our Mini Farm

Twelve Mile Creek Minis is just over the Charlotte, NC, border in beautiful Union County.  We began our adventure in 2010 with the purchase of 2 blue eyed does, and added an additional two does in early 2012. Our original 2 does, Scarlet and Gracie, are pregnant and due in late April/early May!

Gracie kidded with a buck and doe on 4/23/12! Scarlett kidded a chamoisee buckling on Cinco de Mayo [He is sold]! All kids can be registered AGS and/or ADGA.

We also own Ellie, a retired racing Greyhound, 32 Speckled Sussex chickens and I raise koi fish in a 5,000 gallon pond.

History

We started with just two goats thanks to Pinnacle Hills Farms in North Carolina. Gracie and Scarlet have blue eyes and have champion bloodlines, as they are granddaughters of Champion BayWatch out of Twin Creeks. A third doe was just added--blue-eyed Bella Blu that is a red buckskin and hails from DoubleGate and the storied Caesar's Villa line. In early 2012 we added our fourth doe, brown-eyed Lucky Lucy, out of the Oakmoon pedigree.

Since we are a a small goat farm, we have chosen not to own any of our own bucks. Instead we have access locally to some fantastic bucks that we lease for breeding. We feel this will give our goat babies lots of great variety when it comes to parental lineage. Gracie and Scarlet are now bred to Percy, a buck out of Caesar's Villa lines. We hope to see our first babies in late April/early May.
